Professional Attachment - Letters to remember it by
Dear Prof Wong,
Today is the last day of my 10-week internship and I would like to thank you for being an awesome Faculty Supervisor! I've heard from my classmates, of supervisors who do not even reply to their emails, so I'm really glad that I was assigned a supervisor who has been providing me with guidance and advice whenever I need them.
This is my first and possible last (given that I'll be graduating next year) internship, and certainly a very unforgettable one. I'm grateful for having gotten this internship. During Phase 1, we were told to pick up to 2 companies, and me being me, I put only one - M.I.C.E. Matters, and I told myself, if I don't get this, I'll just go to Phase 2. My friends said I must be crazy, for there are people who couldn't get internship places right down to the final phase, yet I am wasting a precious chance.
Indeed, I received a rejection email for M.I.C.E. Matters. However, in an amazing twist of fate, I received a call from the Career Affairs Office, who told me M.I.C.E. Matters decided to accept me in the end. I don't know what happened in between the rejection and eventual acceptance, but 15 minutes after the call from CAO, I got another call from Michelle about going to KL. I couldn't believe how lucky I was!
There was so much excitement and hype over it that perhaps I got my expectations a little too high up. With that, disappointments were inevitable. But I'm grateful for the assistance and guidance that my colleagues have rendered me. And I've learnt. Even though I gained very little knowledge of how things work in this industry, I reflected and thought about my own attitude, my work experience, my abilities and my skills and everything about myself. So through this internship, surprisingly, I learnt about myself.

Twas a quiet morning, had lunch with Monique and Toni at Bugis Junction. MDJP got Yan Ming a new iPhone casing! He was damn happy, yay. :D

With the people who were in the office before I left for dental :(

Anyway I was terribly late for dental. The dentist put the power chain on, and I must say that it's not called the power chain for nothing. It hurts damn much now!

Had dinner at sushi tei with wongie. My treat. :D

25 December 2009 - Class X'mas Party at Hu Yuan's Alrightie I met up with Louis, Judy and JJ at 2plus to collect the food.

I helped some of them to write their names on the hats. Louis' one was the most successful! Omg my 'S' was so perfect.

Heh. Mine isn't so nice. Wrote it yesterday night.

The Turkey! It was funny the way silu kept groaning when I stuffed the stuffing in.

Asean Student Exchange Program 2008 Part VIII

DAY 8
As our flight was at around 10am, we had to leave with the Cambodia people at 4am. We woke up at 3am to get ready, and our host papa and mama was already awake.

When we arrived at the community hall, we were surprised to find Peeraphat and Nicky there. They stayed awake to send us off! Nicky was like half asleep haha… At last, all of us from Cambodia and Singapore lined up and thanked our host family. I will miss my host mama and papa, Aina and Amir soo much!

Slept on the bus ride to airport, it was super uncomfortable, my nose was itching so much man! Anyway had breakfast at the airport. It was a scam! A small Styrofoam cup of Milo was RM2.80 and it didn’t even taste like Milo, but the roti prata which was RM1.60 was nice!

I thank NJ for selecting me for this trip, and I must say I have gained much. Plus, I can speak simple Malay now! :P

3rd November 2008

OP is finally over! But still, I was feeling really dull after OP because I think I kind'a flopped. I was too fast for my own good, and I think Q&A could have been more elaborated on. Nevertheless, it's over so yeahhhhhhh.

Our group was the earliest in our class on the first day of OP examinations in NJ, the next earliest group's tomorrow while the rest are on other days. Us being the earliest to be done, meant that 1] I'm extra freaked out 2] i received more goodluck smses 3] people spammed us questions like what examiners asked for Q&A.

Anyway, a good thing is that my rainbow tote and ribbed tank from David&Goliath has arrived, so has tor's "Blow Me" tee. However, I think M's like too small for me (it's like fitting!) because I had, well, meant to wear it loose like a singlet & not a tank. RAHHH. Anyone wants to buy it from me?

RV Graduation Night 2007

Yesterday was Graduation Night! Sorry for the late entry, was uploading photos and facebooking yesterday until 4am this morning. I was nearly dont uploading photos, but I got discovered by my mom who made me switch off the computer and go sleep.

SO, TAG ME for my effort ok. Because I don't want to see Kevin Quah's spams anymore!!! Steal all photos you want, just right click and save, don't ask me send you the photos, alright!

And SONJIAYUMMY thinks it's easy for me to upload photos, but can I tell you something? NO, NO, NO! It's blogger and if you think its super troublesome to upload photos, so it is for me!

WORSHIP ME. LOVE ME.

In any case. Here goes:

First, I think I was very last-minute in getting all the things because I bought my dress only on Sat or Sun. BECAUSE I CANNOT FIND THE DRESS I WANT. So, in the end, I bought a plain black dress and did stuff to it. Like the belt, the sash and the diamonte pin in front.

I met up with Eliz at 1.30pm to do our hair and we both feel cheated. Eliz spent 45 bucks to spray her hair green and red HAHA. And I had to trim her hair somemore at her house later. Mine was $55, but for the glitter that they sprayed, I had to add 5 bucks. HALLELUJAH.

We got to her house after that, and we watched ghost game for a while until about 5pm, then I did her makeup for her, and it was like 5.50 already when I was done with her. So I did mine in 5-10 mins. We cabbed our way there and guess what?

Dear friend dropped her pendant in the cabseat and I was like digging it out for her. Super unglam, and I failed anyway. In the end the cabby had to retrieve it for us by opening up the seat. BAHHHHHH *embarassed* I am such a good friend. Tsk.

YANG NING XIN IS ANOREXIC!!! Ok she isn't but she is super skinny. Holy!

Thereafter I didn't watch the performances already as I was busy taking photos. And we played a lame game pixelated, which the girls from my table kept asking me to answer and I didn't go.

At the end of it, MQ's dad drove Eliz and I home in his supercool car:D
