I've been real busy at work recently, but things are going well. I'm happy (:
But the aircon's making me sick - I'm down with a sore throat. I'll be going down to Nan Chiau High School tmr, so I must wake up REAL early.

I must do damn well! :D

Jade and I had lunch/dinner at Fish&Co while Darren had his dinner at Swensen's. It was weird, because we ate at different times! When Jade and I ate, Darren watched. When Darren ate, we watched.

We had fun grilling him about his love life too, but it got a bit awkward when they started grilling me... Oh, and Darren refused to wear the X'mas hat for some reason, and Jade smartly guessed that it was because he didn't want to mess his waxed hair up. What the! Guys ought not be so vain!

I think I didn't do well for GP, but econs and geog was passable :D

I went to Ion after my morning paper today, it was alrightie but the aircon was super cold and I felt really uncomfortable. I decided that I'll stick to Vivo. Vivo will be perfect if it has a Muji.

Teachers' Day 2009
I wished my nj teachers happy teachers' day the friday before, and it was quite nice to see their reactions.

Mrs Poon didn't have any major reactions.
Mr Ward was super cute; he just kept going "That's cool!" when I passed him his present. And when I told him to check his lettertray, he asked "Essays?" I told him some others left presents for him in the lettertray and he started going "That's cool!" again. :D
Mr Bek was damn shocked. In a funny way.
Mr Song was pleased.
Ms Ling, she was happy but not surprised. We had a nice chat with her though. ( Chan and I interrupted her consultation session with her students)
I didn't manage to see Ms Lim and Ms Wu so I just left the stuff in their lettertrays; Ms Wu smsed me a thank you and Ms Lim emailed me a thankyou! That's very nice of them :D (As in really, normally teachers don't bother.)

The day before teachers' day, I went back to RV with Jade and Tard.

How I started 2009

06 January 2009 - Gan's 18th Birthday Celebration

Alrighties, her birthday's on 7th, and we had fixed it on 7th. But the guides planned a surprise for her, so we shifted it a day earlier. And everyone couldn't make it. So it was me and wongie with gan!

After Chem consolidation test, I made my way to Plaza Sing to get her damn-huge card and called Wong to wake her up. (It was 11am). Yeah, and then we made our way to Vivo and bought her presents. Gan was late but we weren't ready with the presents yet, so we lied to her and made her go to various places by claiming we were there.
Finally we met up and had lunch at Ramen Ten. That's our pretty cake from Bakerzin for Gan.
Both Gan's and my ramen came. Except Wongie's. She was really traumatised. (Look how she's staring woefully at Gan's ramen, sorry ramen not in picture, but well, imagine the ramen there anyway.)

04 January 2009 - Jtay's BBQ

Was really tired after helping out at Florence and A02 chalet, was contemplating to skip it because I was so dead tired. But I promised I'll be there, so went anyway. Was really tired, so just stoned most of the time.

But was nice watching everyone. And of course, Yap jm singing on CSS.

02-04 January 2009 - A02 Chalet

Meet up with the rest at the interchange and made our way to the chalet!

As usual, cards.

And TV. Hahahh, we were watching Ellen Degeneres + Channel U

Jia Rong brought his mini- mahjong tiles but they didn't play it in the end.

Dinner was at Superdog! The burger sucked though, Vivo's one is nicer. Rah ros and I felt so scammed. And Wei Qiang finished his burger when I've only taken 1 bite.

Went to the arcade... Here's Wei Qiang with many people watching him in awe. He can play the whole time crisis game with 1 credit.

Later, Ros and I accompanied Jia Min chan to the food court for her dinner. She couldn't eat with us because of her surgery wound which hasn't healed (completely).


Then we got back to the chalet to watch Air Force One and Little Nyonya and Ghost Whisperer, followed by movie 7 Pounds. Will Smith's really good! The movie rocked even though it was a little confusing. Thank god I read the synopsis so it wasn't so bad.
Went back for somemore cardgames until 4-5am.

2nd Day went back to chalet in the evening for the BBQ, and played snapjack with Jia Min lim, yingying, ck, jiarong and edwin. My hand hurt so much after that! Someone kept digging his/her nails into my hand :( But it was fun hah!
