24th January 2012 - Happy 21st

My 21st!
My 21st birthday falls on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year, so not much expectations. And birthdays are just like any other days. But my friends, both new and old, made it memorable. (:

My cake! Haha this came as a surprise, because it was way before my birthday (about 1.5 weeks in advance). Jia Wen said she just bought it to decorate for fun, so we were just fooling around, until they tried to lure me again hahaha and I realised!

It's been a whopping 6 years since I started this blog. Read my oldest posts and boy, is it that I've become more shallow? Some of my old posts are really profound! Haha, or maybe, I've begun to blog and talk more about events than really putting my thoughts down in words.

Not to mention, been so busy to even properly blog. My posts are always overdue!

22nd January 2011
Went to Vivo in the afternoon to pass Elizabeth the pork floss sticks. Went home, bathed, and watched Coco before Chanel at home. At about 10 plus or 11 plus, my mom suddenly told me my friends are looking for me. I thought it was someone calling me, and so went to the phone but the phone was down. My mom said my friends were AT THE DOOR. I got a shock!

It was Dian Feng, Jing Min, Si Hui and Kwan Ki with a bakerzin cake! :D Thank you to Si Hui for planning the surprise! (: Awfully surprised and grateful for all you've done, thanks!!!

24th January 2011 - My 20th Birthday!
Went to school for lecture. Imagine having your birthday on the first day of school!

Lecture was a waste of time, totally didn't listen at all ._. Went to meet Jia Min after lecture!

The tuition centre opened up 2 Math classes for me, and lessons started on my birthday itself as I went to Bangkok last week. The first class consisted of 4 students, all pretty obedient but really noisy. One of them's really smart but a bit annoying. The second class consisted of 7 pupils (one of them is really perverse) and they are SUPER noisy. I almost went crazy. But still, I like them all!

Kheng Hwee met me for dinner (we ate in 5 minutes because I was running late), and arranged to meet me after my classes.
The surprise: Twin! She actually got Yi Tong to celebrate my birthday with me! I ended really late, like 9.30pm though. Apologies, and thank you for coming!

Really matters to me that my friends bother! (:

25th January 2011
Almost didn't attend the Comm Fund Seminar thinking there were no lessons this week. Thank god the buses came really quick (and the driver drove really quickly as well) and I got there just on time, before the tutor did. Following that was a lecture that was quite meaningless ._.

Went to Si Hui's house to while away time, and her mom babysits. The boy is SO cute! Makes me wanna be a babysitter too, haha! At 4pm I rushed to NUS to meet Yi Tong to collect my French textbooks. Thanks twin! :D

Then I went for dinner with Elizabeth and Xiu Yi at Shin Kushiya. I ate SO much! I was so happy!

Met Gabrielle at Nex at Serangoon for lunch! Lunch at MOF.
