23 November 2013: Day 4 - Fukuoka
We started the day right with a yummy breakfast at Hotel Okura. I especially loved the chocolate croissant.
For our final day, we started off with an inspection at the Denki Building Kyosokan. From the outside, it looks like a typical office. However, the facilities inside impressed us - there were many different types of rooms suitable for all types of functions that you may be able to think of, and all the venues were equipped with state-of-the-art modern sound and lights equipment to facilitate events here there.
There, there is also a business library. For a small fee, any one may apply for its membership and make use of the full range of facilities in the library and borrow the books. One thing to note, though, is that their library collection consists of only books on business and management.
After the inspection, we headed to
Dazaifu Tenman-gū. This was one of the items on the itinerary that I looked forward to the most. Dazaifu Shrine is one of the main shrines dedicated to Tenjin, or Sugawara no Michizane. Tenjin is considered in Japan as the patron of scholarship - Dazaifu Shrine is thus especially popular with students who are about to take major exams.

After lunch, we did an inspection the convention facilities of The Luigans Spa and Resort. The building is a distance away from The Luigans' main grounds, thus we had to take a shuttle bus which goes into Umi no Nakamichi Kaihin National Park and finally to the sea-side building.

Dinner was prepared by the Banquet kitchen of The Luigans. I really enjoyed the fusion-cuisine, especially the dessert. The tiramisu was undeniably one of the best I've ever tasted; it was light and tasted just right.
